Who we are
First Step Nutrition is the nutrition practice of Dr. Abeera Saad at Darul Barkat Medicare, Sheikhupura, Pakistan. This policy explains how we handle personal information on drabeerasaad.com and in the consultations and internship you arrange through it. Questions: contact@drabeerasaad.com.
What we collect
When you request an online consultation: your full name, WhatsApp number with country code, email address, age, the reason for the consultation, any optional notes, the date and time you request, and your timezone. Please do not include detailed medical records or highly sensitive information in the form.
When you use the contact form: your name, WhatsApp number, email address, the topic and your message.
When you apply for the internship: your name, WhatsApp number, email address, whether you are a student or graduate, your university or college, degree and year, preferred level, whether you are applying as part of a group, and any message.
When we communicate with you: messages, calls and files you send us by WhatsApp or email, including payment receipts or screenshots you send for a consultation.
Technical information: like any website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to run and protect the website.
Why we use it
- To review your consultation request, arrange your appointment and contact you about it
- To provide your consultation and any diet plan you choose
- To verify payment for your consultation
- To answer your questions and process internship applications
- To send emails about your request, such as receipt, approval, confirmation with a calendar file, or cancellation
- To keep the website working and secure
We do not sell your personal information. We send newsletters or marketing emails only to people who have agreed to receive them, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
Health information
The reason you give for a consultation, and what you discuss with Dr. Abeera, may include information about your health. We use it only to provide and follow up on your consultation, and share it only as described below.
Where it is kept and who we share it with
Requests and messages sent through the website are stored in the website’s private dashboard and emailed to contact@drabeerasaad.com. We share information only with the services we use to run the practice:
- Hostinger (website hosting and email): hosts the website, its dashboard and our mailbox, and sends the website’s emails through its email delivery service.
- WhatsApp (Meta): used for messages and for the video consultation, under WhatsApp’s own terms.
- Payment services (Easypaisa or bank transfer): if you pay for a consultation, you pay through your chosen service under its own terms. We receive only the confirmation or receipt you send us.
Links to WhatsApp, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Royal Seeds take you to those websites, whose own policies apply. The client videos on our site are played from our own server.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
International transfers
Our website and email are hosted by Hostinger on servers in the United States. If you live outside the United States, your information is transferred there when you use our forms.
How long we keep it
We keep booking requests, messages, WhatsApp chats and payment receipts for 2 years, and internship applications for 1 year. After that we delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
Keeping it secure
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and the dashboard where requests are stored can be opened only with an administrator login. Access is limited to Dr. Abeera Saad and the members of her clinic team who help manage appointments. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email contact@drabeerasaad.com and we will reply within 30 days.
Children
Consultations for anyone under 18 must be requested by a parent or guardian, who provides the details on the child’s behalf.
Cookies
Our website does not use cookies for visitors, and it does not use analytics or advertising tools. If we add any in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
